Lightning protection measures, lamp structure, and joint waterproofing treatment

Main concerns on site

1: How can point light sources, line lights, wall washing lights, and projection lights achieve lightning protection?

Some lighting fixtures do not use metal or have metal surfaces insulated to achieve lightning protection. In addition, lightning protection is considered in the circuit design of circuit boards such as point light sources, line lights, wall washing lights, and floodlights. The floodlights have built-in lightning protection power supplies.

2: What are the advantages of structural waterproof lighting fixtures? What is the maximum service life of the currently implemented project?

The brand new adhesive free full structure waterproof process has better waterproof performance: the protection level can reach IP67, and the structural waterproof adhesive free process can extend the lifespan of the lamp, avoiding chemical reactions between LED light sources, components, and glue that may affect the lifespan of the light source, components, and the entire lamp due to long-term exposure to solar ultraviolet radiation. The structural waterproof process makes the sealing stronger;

Mechanical structure, more reliable, anti falling, and more waterproof and vapor proof. Can be guaranteed for 3 or 5 years.

The current project that has been implemented is the Kaifeng Urban Rural Integrated Lighting Project in 2018, with a service life of five years.

3: How to handle the waterproofing of underground lamp joints?

There are currently two processing methods in the project application process, and it is recommended to use Method 1 for processing:

Method 1: When wiring is required, the connection area must be treated with waterproof boxes for waterproofing. The waterproof box must be insulated and filled with epoxy resin. (Waterproof junction box as shown in Figure 1). Method 2: The first step is to wrap electrical tape, the second step is to wrap waterproof tape, and the third step is to wrap electrical tape for three layers of protection (see Figure 2 for specific methods).

4: How to deal with eye injuries caused by Aurora series lighting fixtures?

Conventional lighting sources include LED light sources, hybrid light sources, and lasers. Aurora lights are hybrid light sources, which have been processed by brand light source suppliers and do not harm the human body. They can be viewed directly by the human eye.
